Annual General Meeting March 2025
The annual general meeting for YoungShip Møre, held on March 3rd at the ÅKP Innovation area in NMK, was a productive and engaging event.
The agenda covered essential topics, including the approval of the meeting summons and agenda, the election of meeting officials, and a comprehensive summary of the previous year's activities. Members reviewed and approved the financial statements for 2024, discussed the budget proposal for 2025, and set the membership fee for the upcoming year. The election of new board members and a review of the articles of association were also conducted.
Following the formalities, attendees enjoyed a presentation from NTNU about innovation and learned more about ÅKP/GCE BMC's work. The evening concluded with food and refreshments, providing an excellent opportunity for members to socialize and discuss YoungShip Møre's plans for the next year.
The annual meeting was open to all YoungShip members who had paid the membership fee for 2024 and/or 2025. Overall, the event was a successful blend of official business and social engagement, fostering a sense of community and involvement among the members.
Afterwork February 2025
The first YoungShip Møre Afterwork event of 2025, held on February 21st at Dampsentralen in Ålesund, was a fantastic success. The event welcomed a big group of YoungShip Møre members, offering a warm and inclusive environment for both seasoned members and newcomers to connect and share insights.
Attendees enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, which fostered meaningful conversations and networking opportunities within the maritime community. A highlight of the evening was the speed networking session, which allowed participants to quickly meet and engage with a variety of professionals, expanding their network efficiently.
The event provided a perfect blend of camaraderie and professional engagement, allowing members to build lasting connections. Overall, the gathering was a delightful experience that strengthened the bonds within the YoungShip Møre community.
Christmas Party 2024
This year's Christmas party, held at the charming Alnes Brygge, was a delightful evening enjoyed by all. The event kicked off with bus transport from Ålesund, ensuring everyone's safe and timely arrival. Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with a festive drink, setting a pleasant tone for the night.
The multi-course dinner was enjoyable, accompanied by a selection of drinks that paired well with the meal. Throughout the evening, engaging competitions and exciting prizes kept the atmosphere lively and entertaining.
The night was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and memorable moments, capturing the true spirit of the holiday season.
Overall, the Christmas party at Alnes Brygge was a wonderful way to bring colleagues and friends together for an evening of celebration and joy.
Floating Offshore Wind -21 October 2024
The event held at the VARD office in Røysegata 10, Ålesund, on October 21, 2024, was an insightful and engaging gathering focused on the Floating Offshore Wind market. The evening began with a series of interesting presentations that shed light on the latest developments and innovations in the industry.
Attendees enjoyed a selection of food and drinks while networking with fellow YoungShip members. The atmosphere was conducive to both learning and socializing, making it a well-rounded event.

Get together 12. April 2024
The recent get-together at Skipperforeningen in Nedre Strandgate 1, Ålesund, was a delightful and engaging event. Held in a private, informal setting, the gathering provided an excellent opportunity for YoungShip members to meet, network, and enjoy each other's company.

The event was open to all who had paid the 2024 membership fee, with an added incentive for those who paid before April 13th, offering a full year of benefits for a discounted rate.

Annual General Meeting 2024
Dear YoungShippers,
You are all invited to the YoungShip Møre annual meeting on Wednesday 28th of February.
It will be held at the office of Lerøy Havfisk AS at Keiser Wilhelmsgate 23 in Ålesund.
In addition to the formalities of the annual meeting (presentation of the annual report, election of new board members, plans for 2024) we will have dinner and mingling.
The annual report will be distributed to all members prior to the annual meeting. If you are interested in joining the board for 2024 or have any questions, please contact us by email or on Facebook or mention it at the annual meeting.
The event is open to all YoungShip Møre members who have paid the membership fee for 2023 or 2024.
