8-9 September 2022, the annual conference ShipCon took place in Bergen, Norway. YoungShip Helsinki was there to get more insights from the Norwegian shipping market as well as the industry as a whole. The theme of the conference were “A voyage from cradle to grave” and as delegates of the conference you were treated to many engaged and enthusiastic speakers, whilst gaining insight on highly relevant topics demonstrating both the historic perspective as well as the new challenges and change ahead of us.
In the evening of the first day we were treated with a boat trip on the fjords of Bergen, and afterwards sat down for a dinner at the beautiful office premises of Grieg Maritime Group. During the evening the Young Corporation Award were handed to Grieg Maritime Group on behalf of YoungShip International for their continuous work in driving forward young talent within their organization and in the maritime industry.
