We are pleased to invite you to an evening hosted by YoungShip and Wikborg Rein, this time focusing on risk and opportunities in international contracts. Global developments have led to increasing counterparty risk amid growing compliance demands and geopolitical uncertainty. Understanding how to navigate this landscape is a valuable skill for anyone working in shipping. The seminar will explore how to understand and draft contract terms, ensure compliance, and mitigate risk, with interactive presentations by Christian James-Olsen and Håkon Stalheim Meldahl.
Christian James-Olsen is a partner at Wikborg Rein with more than 23 years of experience in the oil and gas sector, and has particularly broad experience with contracts within supply, oilfield services, and offshore projects. Håkon Stalheim Meldahl is specialist counsel with extensive experience in dispute resolution, contract law, and compliance, including sanctions and export control.
The presentation will be held in Norwegian.
