This year YSB is planning to participate in the famous Dredging and marine regatta organized by the main dredging companies of Belgium and The Netherlands. In this year’s edition DEME – our main sponsor – is the organizer of the event, and at such we have got a special invitation to participate. The event aims to connect with others within the maritime industry while sailing at Oosterschelde and enjoying evening activities. While the organizers are still defining final details, we would like to collect interested YSB members in participating in this event.
Brief agenda of the event: event will start Friday afternoon with a gathering at Zierikzee @ 18-19h, this day there will be a welcome drink. Saturday morning sailing event will start, and in the afternoon a BBQ and network activity will take place. Sunday morning people will leave the event and return home. Depending on the boat charter and the interest of YSB members Friday and Sunday boats will sail from/to home base, and member could join this extra sail. Please notice that a contribution of approximately 200EUR/p will be needed for this event including: boat, food and basic drinks. Friday dinner and Sunday Breakfast excluded. Exact price will be calculated and communicated once amount of members is known.
You dont need to have previous sailing experience, nevertheless you should be open to learn and actively participate as advised by the boat captain.
