Europort Event: Energy for onboarding the young

We are honored to host an interactive session during Europort together with Young RMSC. On Friday the 10th of November, we organize a lively interactive panel that will discuss the management styles between generations, featuring insights from a psychologist and established and emerging leaders. The panel discussion will take place at the Green Stage from 14:00 – 15:00.

Program
The event will provide valuable insights into how companies can bridge the perceived generation gap in the workplace. Earlier this year the Young Maritime Board and Erasmus UPT conducted a study into the needs and motives of young maritime professionals active in the Rotterdam region, leading to unprecedented insights. For example, the results showed that 51% of young professionals are contemplating to jump ship towards other industries. Alarming signals calling for action if companies want to keep young professionals onboard.
