Established in 2007, YoungShip Møre (YSM) is a professional network for young people in maritime-related businesses, including ship design, shipyards, equipment suppliers, finance, brokerage, operations, logistics, and shipowners.

Membership registration is open to individuals between the ages of 20 and 37, with an annual fee of 400kr. (150kr for full time students). YSM aims to provide its members with opportunities for both competence and network development. This is achieved through a range of events, including knowledge and personal development seminars, company visits, social gatherings, and other activities.

As a non-profit organization, YSM relies on support from local businesses to maintain its high level of activity. The association is grateful for the partnership of several prominent companies, including Sparebanken Møre, GCE Blue Maritime Cluster, and Seaonics in 2023. The support of these enterprises underscores YSM’s vital role in the Møre maritime cluster and highlights the organization’s commitment to fostering the next generation of young professionals in the industry.
