YoungShip New York aims to be the largest and most active maritime network for young professionals in America’s largest city and bustling East Coast. Our New York location grants us the ability to host unique events, garner big name sponsorships, and build a diverse membership from across the U.S. East Coast and the world in multiple sectors of the maritime industry. Aligned with YoungShip International’s mission, we are dedicated to fostering a collaborative community where young minds are empowered to shape the future of the maritime industry. We provide a platform for the next generation of leaders to engage, inspire, and lead the industry toward a brighter future.

Being situated in the largest city of the United States Northeast metropolis, home to slightly over 50 million people, we want to look beyond attaining members that live solely in New York City. The maritime and shipping industry has a large presence in other cities including but not limited to Stamford, CT; Philadelphia, PA; and Baltimore, MD.

New York City’s global reputation as the financial capital of the U.S. and its status as the most visited city by international tourists, the city offers an exceptional platform for hosting dynamic events that can attract professionals from across the globe. By establishing a chapter here, we open the door to engaging a diverse, international community, fostering invaluable networking opportunities for young professionals worldwide.
