YoungShip Stavanger is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic professionals to join our board and help shape the future of our organization.
At our upcoming Annual General Assembly in February, we will elect three new board members for the following positions:

What we’re looking for
We are looking for proactive, responsible, and ambitious professionals with a genuine interest in the maritime industry. As a board member, you will have the opportunity to help shape YoungShip Stavanger, expand your professional network, collaborate with industry stakeholders, and develop valuable leadership and organizational skills.
And, of course, have plenty of fun along the way!
About the roles
Head of Events
Responsible for planning and coordinating YoungShip Stavanger’s events, including liaising with venues, catering providers, companies, and other relevant partners. The entire board contributes to events as needed.
Head of Marketing
Responsible for YoungShip Stavanger’s communication and social media presence, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, with the opportunity to further develop the organization’s website and digital communication.
Deputy Member
Supports the board and assists with various roles and activities where needed, helping ensure that tasks are followed up and that the board operates effectively.

The deadline for applications is 20 December 2026. Applications may be submitted in Norwegian or English.
All applicants will be evaluated by the current board, which will present the proposed new board for approval at the Annual General Meeting.
