Tuesday 12th of May, YoungShip Stavanger visited GMC Yard for an exciting and insightful afternoon with plenty of learning and impressive experiences from start to finish. We started with a presentation and tour led by Arild Stølen, who gave us a closer look into the activity and projects taking place at the yard. Getting the chance to see the Nexans vessel Nexans Aurora up close was a real experience in itself.
The visit continued onboard both Nexans Aurora and Stril Neptun, where we got valuable insight into the operations, technology and day-to-day work onboard.
