Last week, the UK maritime sector took a massive step forward and YoungShip Liverpool was incredibly proud to be there in person to witness it. We travelled down to the capital to show our unwavering support for our newest sister branch at their official launch event on the 28th of April at The Railway Tavern, Liverpool Street!
Seeing young professionals from across the maritime, shipping and logistics industries come together was truly inspiring. The energy in the room was a testament to the thriving, dynamic future of our industry. From sharing industry insights to community building, the launch made one thing absolutely clear, the next generation of maritime leaders in the UK is stronger and more united than ever.
We want to extend a massive congratulations to the newly appointed YoungShip London Board (Amy Lees, Stephan Bergmann Johansen, Jack Madden and Mariana Ruano) for pulling off such a fantastic inaugural evening. A special shoutout also goes to the headline sponsor, Spinergie, for championing the advancement of young professionals and supporting the continued growth of the YoungShip international network.
At YoungShip Liverpool, we know that shipping is an industry built entirely on connections. Having a vibrant, active branch in one of the world’s foremost maritime and financial hubs means unparalleled opportunities for collaboration, knowledge-sharing and networking right across the UK.
To all our members up North, if you are ever working in or visiting the capital, you now have an extended maritime family waiting to welcome you!
Please join us in giving a huge Northern welcome to YoungShip London! Make sure to follow their page, connect with their fantastic team and if you have colleagues or friends based in the capital, encourage them to sign up and become a member.
Here’s to bridging the gap between two of the UK’s greatest maritime cities and shaping the future of global shipping together!
