YoungShip Helsinki has been invited to visit ABB Marine & Ports office in Vuosaari Helsinki. 

We will receive a presentation about ABB Marine & Ports operations globally as well as get the chance to see the Azipod® propulsion factory and have try in the simulator in Marine Academy. 

Some light food and drinks will be served. Kindly let us know if you have any allergies.

How to find your way to ABB Marine House? 

By public transport to Marine House:

 Timetables and exact routes can be found at www.hsl.fi
The metro runs to Vuosaari, from where buses 90 and 818 run to Vuosaari Harbor.
There is also a taxi rank at Vuosaari Metro Station

By car to  Marine House:

From the direction of Ring Road I: drive directly from Itäkeskus to Vuosaari, continue on Vuotie under Columbus Shopping Center and continue directly to the Vuosaari harbor area. At the two oncoming roundabouts, turn right, after which Merenkulkijankatu turns left.
From Ring Road III: Continue east to the end and drive through the tunnel. Before the gates of the port terminals, go up the ramp to the right in the direction of Vuosaari. Drive around Laivanrakentajantie to the port area. At the first roundabout, go straight and turn right at the second roundabout. Merenkulkijankatu turns left.

Driving to the Marine House guest car park is right up the ramp before the house. The gate opens automatically when driving in and out. Guest parking spaces are located immediately to the right. Roadside parking is also allowed.
