Annual General Assembly | 24.01.2023

All members of ‘YoungShip Cyprus’ are hereby invited to attend the Annual General Assembly of the Association which will take place on Tuesday, 24^th January 2023 at 18:00 at Columbia Plaza, in Limassol. The Annual General Assembly is convened in accordance with the provisions of Chapter III of the Articles of Association of YoungShip Cyprus.

Agenda of the Annual General Assembly:

1.        Presentation by Mr. Sotiris Petrakides of InoMob Ltd, Winner of YoungShip Cyprus Innovation & Entrepreneurship Award 2022

2.        A review of the Association’s activities for 2022.

3.        Discussion and approval of the financial statements of the Association for 2022.

4.        Discussion and approval of the Association Action Plan for 2023.

5.        Discussion and approval of the Association Annual Budget for 2023.

6.        Appointment of external Auditors

7.        Discussion.

8.        Various.

Members* who have renewed their membership and settled their financial obligations to the Association for 2023, may attend the Annual General Assembly.

Eligible to vote in Annual General Assembly:

19:00 – 19:05   Appointment of Chairman of the Assembly.

19:05 – 19:15   Activity Report Presentation for 2022 by Mrs. Antria Dionysiou.

19:15 – 19:25   Financial Report Presentation for 2022 by Mrs. Fotini Papachatzaki.

19:25 – 19:35   Discussion and approval of the Association Action Plan for 2023

19:35 – 19:45   Discussion and approval of the Association Annual Budget for 2023.

19:45 – 19:50   Appointment of external Auditors

19:50 – 20:00   Closing of Assembly.

* ‘YoungShip Cyprus’ membership categories:

Full members – refers to young professionals up to the age of 40, who are Cyprus residents and provide their services in the wider field of shipping and maritime industry. Eligible to participate in all activities of the Organization and enjoy the rights of voting and being elected as a Board member.

Supporters – refers to those who wish to support the Organization but are not eligible for full membership, either due to the age criterion (above 40) and/or due to the fact that they are not directly related to the shipping and maritime industry in Cyprus. Eligible to participate in all other activities of the Organization, than voting and being elected as a Board member.

Students – refers to students in educational institutions in Cyprus, such as Universities and Colleges, who currently pursue their undergraduate or postgraduate studies, in the field of shipping and maritime. Eligible to participate in all other activities of the Organization, than voting and being elected as a Board member.
