Mercator Museum
18h45 on 13 December 2022
Dear YoungShippers,
We use maps every day. On our phones, in the car and maybe some of you even professionally when navigating a ship. Maps control our life more than you think.
Therefore YoungShip will host a private guided night tour in the Mercator Museum in Sint-Niklaas. Admire the work of the first cartographers and a few of the oldest maps and globes in the whole world. A private guide will guide us through the museum and will enlighten us with great stories and fun facts about the collection. Participation is free of charge thanks to our kind sponsors.
Unfortunately the tour will be in Dutch only, but we can assure you that the pieces in the museum are worth joining the tour; and most likely there will be a fellow youngshipper who is willing to translate.
We meet at the museum at 18h45 on 13 December 2022. The tour will take about 90 min and places are limited so do not hesitate to subscribe. If you are looking for a spot to carpool, make sure to check the box when you subscribe on our website.
