Join us for an event in collaboration with the Royal Danish Navy on 24 September 2026 at Marine Station Copenhagen, Nyholm, H.C Sneedorffs Alle 1439 Copenhagen.
An evening with the Royal Danish Navy (Søværnet), where the next generation of shipping meets the people safeguarding maritime security, trade routes, and Denmark's role as a leading maritime nation.
We are honoured to welcome a panel of Simon E. Schultz-Larsen, Head of 4th Squadron at the Royal Danish Navy, and Jakob P. Larsen, BIMCO’s Chief Safety & Security Officer. Expect a rare look behind the scenes and strong networking to round off the evening.
Holmen Naval Base (Henrik Gerners Pl. 1) is easiest to access by bike or car. For public transport, take the M1/M2 to Christianshavn and continue by bus 2A towards Refshaleøen, getting off at Arsenaløen, which is around a 10-minute walk from the site. You can also take the yellow harbour bus 991/992 (ferry) to Holmen North and walk from there (10 min). Please allow a few extra minutes for entering the site and security checks at the entrance.
Please note that due to the security measures at Marine Station Copenhagen only members on the registration list will be able to attend the event.

YoungShip Denmark Annual General Meeting | 27 April 2026
Welcome to the 2026 Annual General Meeting of YoungShip Denmark on the 27th of April, 16.00. The meeting will be held online via Teams - please reach out to us if you would like to join.
Agenda:
- Election of Chair for the meeting.
- Presentation of YoungShip Denmark Annual Report 2025. The report outlines the association's activities over the past year. At minimum, the report should include information on how the association has fulfilled its purpose clause, especially activities taken to carry out activities in line with its objectives.
- Approval of YoungShip Denmark's financial accounts.
- Decision on any potential membership fees as of May 1st 2026
- Discussion of submitted proposals.
- Election of Board Members, alternates, and auditor.
- Any other business.
Re. 4. The Board does not propose to introduce a membership fee as of 1 May 2026.
Instead, the Board proposes a new membership structure whereby members are required to enrol annually, without payment of a membership fee.
In addition, the Board proposes to introduce membership categories to allow for participation by, inter alia, CBS students, trainees, and full‑time employed members.
The proposed membership structure will be discussed at the AGM. Following the discussion, the Board intends to convene an Extraordinary General Meeting in autumn 2026 with the aim that a revised membership structure may enter into force on 1 January 2027.
